And who’d understand the addiction better than a blogger!
We at Blue Sky Dreamers have been a tad more addicted to clicking and social media networking for a past few weeks. Thanks to our new Asus Zenfone 2 Laser (ZE550KL) phone. Now you may have read a thousand reviews of the phone all across the various technical review websites but here we take a peek at the phone’s performance from a blogger’s perspective. Since we have been enjoying our microblogging experience through the phone, we thought of sharing it for the benefit of fellow bloggers, social media addicts and selfie lovers.
The first thing you notice about the phone is the large body that it possesses implying a big battery. Larger battery means lesser charging. The 3000 mAh battery keeps you going for long without impacting your work. This is important considering one may be covering events where power backup may not be available.
The camera [13 MP rear camera; 5 MP Front] quality offered by this phone is great. One does not need to be very educated photography wise to capture amazing shots with this device. At the same time, the phone allows manual settings too. The camera is fairly simple to use and offers some unique features that make the device all the more fun to use.
Take the beautification feature, for instance. Rushing out to an event without make-up and looking dreaded in the pictures? Well, no sweat, the devices beautification features helps you doll up your image before you upload it for millions to see in awe and amazement. This feature is a dream come true for fashion bloggers and selfie addicts. Blush, skin softening, eye enhancement it has it all! And we haven’t come to the best beautification feature yet. Cheeks tightening. Yes, it can take away some flab and remove the double chin. Wish there was an invention that could reduce weight that easily in reality too!
The star attraction of the phone is of course the laser technology. The laser auto-focus system works little faster than the usual one. So, the focus is better – however, it works efficiently only for short distances. Also, the feature enables taking better pictures in low-light conditions.[We’ll post a photo-story on the blog soon. Come back to take a look at the quality of pictures clicked on Asus Zenfone 2]
The 1.2 Ghz processor offers a surprisingly seamless performance and one can easily swap between one’s blog and social media portals without being held back by the device’s performance. That’s what I like most about the phones engineering. Despite being a midrange phone, the phone doesn’t disappoint performance wise. Honestly, I haven’t felt the need to go back to my laptop post using this device.
Camera performs well even in low light
Better focus and great selfies!
