Top 6 Bags That Make Travelling All The More Fun!

Imagine applying for a leave of one week at your workplace and getting it approved almost instantly. Travelling isn’t only about recuperating from the ever-increasing work pressure. It is also about leaving the chaos behind and finding solace amidst the wild even if it’s for a few days. Exploring a new place is a thrilling experience altogether. However, this experience can end up being horrible if you fail to carry the right bag with you. Yes, what if you end up struggling with the oversized bag instead of enjoying the mesmerizing view in an exotic location? What if your belongings start falling out of the luggage in the middle of your journey?

Your journey can go amiss if you fail to choose the right travel bags that will suit your purpose. I have crafted a list of the six different types of travel luggage for different kinds of locations. Give this blog a read and get acquainted with the most common types of travel luggage.

1. Wheeled backpacks

Do you experience frequent back pain or pain in the neck? Don’t let your ill-health bog you down.Wheeled backpacks can make it way easier for you to carry the luggage on your own, especially if you are planning to visit the hills. These are a perfect blend of the medium-sized suitcases and backpacks. Thus, the wheel backpacks let you enjoy the space provided by both a suitcase and a backpack. The wheels at the bottom will help you drag the luggage wherever you go easily without the fear of backache. But, make sure you check whether your location is wheel-friendly or not. If not, then you must have a look at the other options.

2. Travel Totes

How often have you missed a phone call just because you don’t remember which compartment in your bag has the phone? Travelling encompasses a wide slew of requirements such as clothes, medicines, passport, voter ID, and other travel essentials. The travel totes can help you keep the tiny requirements aside such as the passport, make-up essentials, skincare products, etc. These bags are usually unfastened and consist of parallel handles arising from the adjacent sides. It has a single compartment and is the perfect companion for a vacation of 2-3 days.

3. Zip Top Sling

Now obviously you wouldn’t be spending all your time in the hotel room. You’ll roam around or even opt for a day of sightseeing. For which a sling bag can come in handy. It will help you in carrying limited but important things like wallet, handkerchief, pocket perfume, lip balm, etc.

4. Jhola Bags

People like me would definitely not want to miss the chance of shopping locally. Jhola bags here can be of great help. You can easily fit in those small or medium-sized souvenirs in a Jhola bag. Apart from shopping, it can also help you carry a water bottle or napkin while you explore the destination.

5. Weekenders

This is my favourite one, and yet it comes third in my list, and I will tell you why. Weekenders are extremely easy to carry. These bags look like an elongated version of duffel luggage and consist of enough space for your clothes, toiletries, make-up essentials, etc. to fit. Whether you are planning for short trips or long trips, this luggage is the right one for you. In my opinion, the only con of weekenders is that most of them are made out of nylon or cotton. Harsh climatic conditions may act adversely on the material of this luggage.

6. Rolling luggage

These are sleek suitcases with wheels at the bottom. Office-goers usually use rolling luggage for outstation conference meetings. It’s easier to carry these because they are lightweight and the wheels add up to its flexibility. Do you have a short business trip anytime soon? Then I would recommend you get this luggage. Initially, it was considered only as a carry-on. However, by 2019, we have seen that rolling luggage has become a popular choice among people, and some may also refer to these as ‘spinner luggage.’

Apart from the bags mentioned above, you can obviously use backpacks, suitcases or satchel bags throughout the journey. No matter what type of luggage you choose to carry, make sure it is durable and easy to carry. Have a happy trip!
