This is the Best Way to Send Rakhi to India from Canada
How I wish I could be in India this month to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with family! I bet all the sisters here in Canada second thought if their dear (even irritating) brothers are in India. Sigh, while that may not be possible right now, all one can do is send rakhi and sweets to India,
I have tried out several options over the last few years. There are several options like FNP, IGP, Talash etc available. However, these usually turn out to be pretty expensive and I find the options quite limited. Even the most basic (and boring) hampers cost a minimum of 1000 bucks.
So, I rely on the good old and trusted Amazon to find the best option to buy rakhi gifts for my brothers in India. But the trick is to log into Amazon.in instead of Amazon.ca. Although you do get a lot of variety on Amazon.ca as well.
The advantage with Amazon.in is that you get more variety for quirky gifts. Check out this one:
There are also of course several options for gifts. For instance, a hamper like this for a brother who likes to take care of himself.
What kind of gifts are you looking for your brother in India? Which website do you usually rely on?
