Deyga Organics| Are The Skincare Products Really Worth It?

An honest review of Deyga Organics, a skincare brand that celebrates raw, natural, and organic beauty.

Self-care has always been a priority for me. No matter how busy I am, I ensure I dedicate some time each week to taking care of my skin and hair. It’s a habit I have inculcated from my mother. Both of us eagerly look for DIY skincare and hair care natural remedies. We stay away from chemical-laden products and, therefore, search for pure and organic beauty brands.

So when Deyga Organics recently caught my attention, I was eager to give it a try. I have been using a face toner, face pack, serum, and a deodorant by Deyga Organics for about a month. Here’s a review of the products from this brand from Tamil Nadu, India.

Reasons why I am recommending Deyga Organics:

Obviously I am recommending the brand because I am quite pleased with the quality of the products. But that is not the only reason. You should give this brand a chance also because it is:

  • No chemicals: The products are free from chemicals and hence have no side effects
  • Handcrafted products: Deyga products are made, mixed and packed by hand ensuring a pure and natural essence to the entire experience.
  • Local: If you like the idea of promoting made in India products, that should be a reason enough to buy and try a Deyga product.
  • Sustainable: I love the packaging of the products (see picture); it states the brand supports sustainability.
  • Cruelty-free: Deyga claims to be strictly against animal testing and it does not use animals in any way to test the products

Deyga Tea Tree Facial Toner Review

Rating: 5 out of 5.

A face toner is often the most underused skincare product. A toner helps in restoring your skin’s pH balance, removes dead cells, and aids in retaining moisture.

Tea tree Facial Toner: Deyga’s Tea Tree facial toner is excellent for those with problem-prone skin. Made purely with steamed distilled tea tree water, the toner clears away impurities leaving the skin feeling clean and purified. I love the refreshing fragrance of the toner. I like it better than the toner I have been using because of the benefits of tea tree — it is antibacterial and antiseptic. If you have acne you must definitely include it in your skincare routine.

I use it once in the morning and once at night before applying the serum. I also use it to dilute a face pack.

Price: Rs 450 for 100 ml.

Deyga Beautifying Serum Review

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

At the outset, I should mention that Deyga’s beautifying serum isn’t like the ones you might be using before. It is heavier in texture; more oily but non-greasy. I found the serum fast absorbing on my combination skin.

deyga serum review

Ingredients: Moringa Oil, Kukui Oil, Bitter Almond Oil, Grapeseed Oil. Khus Khus, Baobab

The serum is a unique blend of oils and herbs with antioxidant and antibacterial benefits. The pros are:

  • 100% natural
  • Has excellent fragrance of the oils (I find it very relaxing for night use)
  • Brightens dull skin
  • Repairs pigmentation
  • Minimizes fine lines and signs of ageing
  • Relieves dark circles

Cons:

People with oily skin might find it sticky

Price: Rs 730 for 30 ml

Deyga Spirulina Matcha Face Pack Review

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The health benefits of spirulina are well recognized now. For the uninitiated, spirulina is a form of algae that offers skin and health benefits:

  • Spirulina promotes  skin healing while increasing the cell turnover rate
  • It detoxifies the skin, preventing fungal acne
  • Matcha with its high antioxidant and anti-ageing properties, keeps the skin hydrated and controls excess oil
  • This combination works to exfoliate dead skin cells to reveal clearer pimple-free skin

I use the pack once a week; I use the toner to dilute the pack

Deyga’s spirulina matcha face pack is highly potent suitable for all skin types but particularly beneficial for acne-prone skin! It promises to reduce the occurrence of zits & pimples and keep the skin clear & healthy.

Ingredients: Aloevera, Matcha, Spirulina, Neem, Moringa, Comfrey

Price: Rs 550

Happy with the benefits of all the Deyga skincare products I have used, I highly recommend you to try the brand. Apart from the effectiveness, I love the fact that the products are natural (chemical free), organic, and made in India.

Do you use toner as a part of your everyday skincare routine? What all do you look for in your skincare products?
