Golden Tulip Chattarpur: A Beautiful Wedding Venue in NCR

About three years ago, around this time, Abhinav and I were looking for a perfect venue for our wedding. Since we were not going for a really grand affair, we were looking for a simple but elegant wedding venue in NCR. We had a vision for our wedding and wanted a venue that matched our style. After much research, we found the perfect venue and celebrated our wedding just the way we had in our minds.

We often talk about the significance of the right wedding venue and feel lucky we found exactly what we were looking for. This discussion came up again during our recent weekend stay at Golden Tulip New Delhi Chattarpur, a popular wedding venue in NCR. Looking around the hotel, we imagined how the hotel can be apt for someone looking for a wedding like ours as well as for someone wanting a big wedding.

The Hotel

Golden Tulip New Delhi Chattarpur has 34 rooms and suites overlooking the pools and gardens. We stayed at the Presidential Suite during our weekend stay. The interiors are cosy. Since we were staying with a baby, the spacious suite made our stay quite comfortable.

Spread over three acres, the hotel has all the five-star facilities. The white structure invokes a sense of tranquility while the lush green lawns add to the aesthetic appeal of the hotel. It is an apt venue for family celebrations and conferences as well.

Banquet Space

Located at the lower lobby level, the Imperial Ballroom boasts of a 3, 700 sq. ft. area, which can accommodate 300 guests. It can be converted into three separate halls catering to small conferences, meetings and social gatherings. The ballroom along, with access to the pool side can accommodate up to 500 guests, making it an ideal location for a wedding and other social gatherings. Other Facilities

The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool area, apt for one of the wedding functions.

There is an all-day dining restaurant called Senses offering Indian and Continental cuisine. We couldn’t go to the restaurant during our stay because we were travelling with our baby. But we enjoyed in-room dining for all the meals. Of the dishes we had, we relished Roasted Chicken with Spaghetti and Sandwiches the best.

When you're travelling with an infant, luxury isn't about staying in a Presidential Suite. True luxury is getting to eat hot meal as soon as it is served [actually it is getting to sleep all night ;)]. While we cherished our stay at the grand suite, the luxury of enjoying a hot meal together eluded us. Even then this Roasted Chicken with Spaghetti and mushroom sauce tasted delicious. And it wasn't just because we were hungry. The food at Golden Tulip exceeded our expectations. Golden Tulip New Delhi Chattarpur is just 15kms away from the Delhi airport. It is located at an easy driving distance from Gurgaon and Faridabad. Also, it has metro connectivity to popular tourist attractions like Qutab Minar, Connaught Place and Lotus Temple as well as many markets and malls in the city.
