Photo Story: Sunday Picnic & Asus Zenfone
Winter Sundays are the best days of the year. They get better when you have a large family, all equally enthusiastic about picnics. The date for next picnic usually gets decided before the current one ends though there are arguments and disagreements about the venue of WhatsApp group later on!
Since picnics are a winter custom for us, we have exhausted the list of usual options in Delhi for picnics — Lodhi Garden, Deer Park, Pratapgarh Farms, Purana Quila etc.
Happy with the picnic at Pratapgarh Farms a couple of years ago, we decided to revisit the memories at a similar spot — Eco Adventure Camp Dharuhera, a few Sundays ago. Here’s a photo tour of the place through our brilliant and impressive Asus Zenfone 2. Though we have already written a review for the phone, this post is a way of expressing our love for the phone!
With a “village” set up, the farm strives to offer a rustic charm. Of course, it’s more of a photo opportunity than experience!
This is but a small glimpse of the huge farm place. There are pottery lessons, musical chair corner, tractor ride and more. However, we liked the Pratapgarh Farms better.
Food: Do not expect lip smacking food! Average food but a lot of it. From bajre ki roti with white butter and chutney to full meal lunch and pakodas with chai as evening snacks — the options are plenty.
Cost: Rs 850 incl of food and all activities. [We found it overpriced for the overall experience we had]

Love the photo story! It was like a virtual trip. Would have loved to watch the pottery session in action!
