On an unexpected humid rainy day, the least you could expect from a cafe is an appropriate quantity of coffee in your mug with just the right amount of sugar, if at all. And that’s where GreenR Store+Cafe at Shahpur Jat sets the right pace by serving Blue Tokai, popularly known as the best and freshest single estate arabica coffee.

A co-working space for entrepreneurs and the villagers, the small café is open and suitable for everyone aiming to live a happy life. Happy and not just long…in sync with the concept of sustainability adopted by the store as well as the café.

With the increasing awareness about benefits of ecological sustainability, it is soon finding a safe place among the top trends of the world. And as it does this, it endangers the authenticity of a sustainable store on any street in any part of the world. But, contrary to the aforementioned presumption, GreenR surprises you in its own unique way. From Vegan meatballs to Homemade veggie tuna and Natural Gelato, the place has provided a quick fix to health, taste and sustainability.

While offering a healthy alternative to the meat-side-of-the-world, it is not competing with the preferable/popular/patent dishes; in fact, for the majority of the mini menu, just the texture has been adopted from the patent delicacies, hence leaving aside imitation of taste. What’s more admirable is that with the help of giants like Holy Belly, sustainability is maintained right from sourcing to developing and presenting. And pricing; the prices are reasonable.

With the new addition to the menu, the vegetarian-friendly enthusiasts would be able to enjoy a plethora of items curated while keeping in mind few non-vegetarian favourites.

Meatball pizza, Pie Lentil Burger with papaya relish, Kate and Pine Nuts Earth Bowl and the Chocolate Ganache are few items we tried and absolutely cherished along with the Affogato cold coffee. And what we also enjoyed were the mellow contemporary tunes that hummed their way through the vibrant pastels of the café. And the fact that the dainty place is soon going to host movie screenings along with storytelling by the co-owner, Mohit Yadav.
