What are the WORST things to Eat on Your First Date?

Don’t let a happy date be ruined by your food choices! Here is a list of things you must absolutely avoid ordering and eating on your first date.

It is that perfect moment that you have so often dreamed of. The champagne, the moonlight, the glitter in her eyes and that piece of chicken stuck between your teeth, eeek!

Often our perfect moments in life have been overruled by our culinary choices and keeping these simple things in mind can keep our dates more than perfect.

Exhibit A– food between the lines. Avoid having dark foods or food that has dark elements such as black olives as the remainder might decide to hang around a little more and reveal itself at that very moment.

Exhibit BAerated disasters. I often wonder how the hero gets the girl with his favourite cola. If the advertisement stayed on the screen a little longer, it would display something that no girl would enjoy, leave alone appreciate. Avoid these cheap drinks and keep them classy.

Exhibit C– The chewing gum bum. Yes, you want your breath to be kiss ready. Arrange a mouth spray can. It’s small, handy and much more effective and much less irritating than that gum in your mouth.

Exhibit D– The bone collector. Try to go for boneless portions and use cutlery to barge through your food. Picking on bones and smacking your lips around them is not just so yesterday, it is so very caveman.

Exhibit E– The vampire repellent. Yes, your garlic breath can perhaps save your life when it comes to vampires but it will definitely force you to lead a lonely life. Best avoided in the company of people you like and a definite go to in the company of people you loathe.

All this may sound superficial and perhaps those who love us won’t mind any of this. However, it is up to us to make those who love us feel special by taking care of these few simple things.
