Announcing the “For the Love of Travel” Series

couple travellers
The series aims at inspiring you with stories of individuals, couples, families who travel simply for travel’s sake.

Travel. The word means different things to different people. Some travel as tourists collecting pictures/selfies in front of famous sights. Some love exploring places no guide books talk about. Some love the indulgence of business class and luxury hotels while some find gratification only on budget trips. Then there are some of us who travel purely for the love of travel. Like Robert Louis Stevenson, they romanticize with the idea of “movement” from one place to another. There life moves from one trip to another.

Whatever be the purpose and idea of travel to us, all of us come back as storytellers. We have funny travel stories, horrible incidents, awe-inspiring moment to smile and laugh about. Of good experiences and bad, sunrises and late night walks, troublesome journeys and joyful discoveries about ourselves — the tales are fascinating. While we find inspiration from several such stories on travel blogs we follow and magazines we read, there is another set of people constantly motivating us: Our non-blogging friends. They share their travel stories with us through pictures on social media, through emails and/or over cups of coffee. They are solo travellers, couples who holiday frequently, families that make impromptu plans and drive away… Bringing their stories to inspire you, Blue Sky Dreamers present the series “For the Love of Travel“. In interesting interviews and write ups, we will find out about their travel inspirations, kind of adventures and of course tons of anecdotes that have not made it to the travel blogging universe thus far!

The first of the series featuring Sandeep & Smita Sahajpal will be up soon. Keep watching this space!
